We compiled this searchable list of peer-reviewed academic literature on population, health, and armed conflict to support further research and information seeking on these topics. COW Correlates of War This is an alternative leading dataset on armed conflict. This dataset encompasses COW datasets on non-state, intra-state, interstate, and extrastate (comparable to the UCDP datasets). However, armed conflicts here are coded when a conflict reaches 1000 battle-related deaths. Global 1816-2007

CTCD Counter-Trafficking Data Collaborative The Counter-Trafficking Data Collaborative is the first global data hub on human trafficking, publishing harmonized data from counter-trafficking organizations around the world. Data on CTDC is available either to download or to visualize. The visualizations are powered by aggregate statistics which are available for download, and anonymized versions of the CTDC datasets are available publicly to download from the site. PITF Political Instability Task Force Worldwide Atrocities Dataset The Political Instability Task Force (PITF) Worldwide Atrocities Dataset is a global dataset that describes, in quantitative terms, the deliberate killing of non-combatant civilians in the context of a wider political conflict. This data collection project, which is still ongoing, is intended to advance efforts to understand and anticipate atrocities, i.e., the deliberate use of lethal violence against non-combatant civilians by actors engaged in a wider political or military conflict. SVAC Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict (SVAC) data The Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict (SVAC) dataset measures reports of the conflict-related sexual violence committed by armed actors. The armed actors include government forces, pro-government militias, and rebel groups between 1989-2009 (SVAC 1.0), and government forces and rebel groups for 2010-2015 (SVAC 2.1) and 2016-2021 (SVAC 3.2). The dataset includes information about the prevalence, perpetrators and forms of the reported sexual violence by each armed actor in each conflict-year. SATP South Asia Terrorism portal SATP is the largest website on terrorism and low intensity warfare in South Asia, and creates the database and analytic context for research and analysis of all extremist movements in the region. TPCONED  The Turkish State-PKK Conflict Event Dataset TPCONED is a dataset on the fatal events of the armed conflict between the rebel organization PKK and the Turkish state that took place on Turkish soil and in which there was at least one combatant casualty. For each event, the exact date, location at the county (town) level, location at the province level, number of TSF and PKK casualties, and the data sources are listed. The dataset covers the conflict from its very beginning in 1984.
